The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation (SCVEDC) will host two FREE Enterprise Zone seminars on October 22, 2014, in the morning from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and in the afternoon from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the College of the Canyons University Center in Room 107, at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road.
More than 400 local businesses in the Santa Clarita Valley have claimed the “Hiring Tax Credit” benefit on more than 6,500 jobs, generating a potential $243 Million in tax savings since 2007. The seminars will inform local businesses on how to access the maximum amount of enterprise zone tax credits available to them. The tax credits are valid for 10 years from the time they are generated and are an important benefit to businesses who know how to claim them.
The SCVEDC’s economic development efforts help to create high-skilled and high-wage jobs in the Santa Clarita Valley. SCVEDC investors lead the organization in helping to creating a diverse and resilient economic environment where businesses can prosper.
Breakfast will be served at the morning seminar, and lunch will be served at the afternoon seminar. All interested participants must RSVP here.
