The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce today announced the 2015 taxes for the former Latino Chamber of Commerce have been filed.
“The taxes were prepared by a Certified Public Accountant and then reviewed and signed by the former treasurer of the Latino Chamber Board of Directors,” said John Musella, chairman of the SCV Chamber of Commerce. “The issue has been resolved and the Chamber has no further comment on the matter.”
The SCV Latino Chamber of Commerce merged with the SCV Chamber of Commerce in January 2015. According to the Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations, upon completion of the merger, it became the responsibility of the SCV Chamber to file the Latino Chamber’s final 2015 tax forms.
Upon review, the SCV Chamber found it did not have record of the 2015 tax filing.
The taxes were filed on Friday, July 28, 2017. A copy of the Form 990 follows.
