Beginning October 4, Six Flags Magic Mountain will raise the dead to celebrate its 21st annual Fright Fest Presented by Snickers.  In addition to the world-class line-up of thrill rides, the theme park will be transformed into a haunted “scream park” for four frightfully fun weekends through October 27.

Fright Fest offers 13 days of terrifying haunted mazes, roaming zombies, the scariest clowns on the planet and spooky shows … leaving no tombstone unturned to bring the ultimate sensory overload for every range of fear.  For the little monsters, a Trick or Treat Trail and Halloween Crafts round out the activities.
October 4-6, 11-13, 18-20 and 24-27.

Fright Fest activities not available on Monday, October 14.

Terrifying Fright by Night Entertainment

Prepare for 13 days of terrifying haunted mazes, roaming zombies and spooky shows. If that’s not enough, we’ve added a “twisted” element to some of our monster coasters by turning off the lights, leaving riders to face their fears literally in the dark. And, the Fright Fest favorite that coaster fanatics wait for all year … the transformation of one of the largest, most celebrated coasters in the world, Colossus BACKWARDS!

The three new mazes this year incorporate state-of-the-art makeup and props; The lights at Magic Moments Theater have unexpectedly darkened on the anniversary of the demise of the longest running show. Guests are thrust into Total Darkness and have to try and find their way out of the winding labyrinth with only their pounding hearts to guide them. Over at the Weepy Hills INSANEtorium, your bodies and souls now belong to the deranged and corrupt staff. Enter at your own risk and make sure your mental health is intact. Playing with dolls and trucks will never be the same because the defunct toy factory is now haunted by Toyz of Terror. Wicked windups, freakish furries and deranged dolls haunt those who enter the factory.

(Wristbands are required for entrance in mazes and may be purchased online or at the park.)

Chilling Thrills by Day Entertainment

Six Flags Magic Mountain will unearth frightful fun for the entire family during our most popular festival of the year. Enjoy seasonally-themed shows, events and attractions including kid-friendly activities during the daylight hours … but once the sun begins to set, the ghouls come out to haunt the midways.

Witch Hazel’s Pumpkin Patch Crafts

Looney Tunes Trick or Treat Masquerade

Colossus Backwards! (A Fright Fest Favorite)
Experience one of the largest, most celebrated coasters in the world – BACKWARDS! That’s right, back by popular demand. Travel nearly one mile on this dual track wooden coaster all while sitting completely backwards!

Only children ages 12 & under are allowed to wear costumes to Six Flags Magic Mountain. No masks or scary/gory costumes allowed.
