1851 - San Fernando-San Francisquito-Eliz. Lake Roads become public highways [story]

A double-wide mobile home on a hilltop above the Lily of the Valley Mobile Home Park in Bouquet Canyon burned to the ground Monday.

The fire broke out shortly before noon Monday and spread to vehicles and outbuildings, but firefighters got a handle on it and it engaged relatively little brush. The mobile home park was threatened for about an hour.

Fire officials suspect the blaze started in a debris pile outside of the home. Two people were home at the time of the fire but got out safely.

Property records show a manufactured home in the 19800 block of Blue Cloud Road. The 4-bedroom, 3-bath home was erected in 2005.

Bouquet Canyon Road and David Way were closed to traffic. Fire department personnel were staging on Bouquet at Blue Cloud Road.

So sad for these older ladies. What can we do to help them out? Bedding, pots and pans, dishes, flatware, sheets, tooth brushes, Food, paper goods even toilet paper.
Where can we deliver donations including credit gift cards cards for groceries, etc??
These ladies worked so hard to clean the brush along Blue Cloud Canyon Road to have this happen is tragic.
SCV TV help out here please?
Can we bring donations to the Station and you can have someone deliver to them? Thank you
