Very sad!!! RIP sometimes we think people will see us n not our dog n most often we lose our lives. I think we all wish we could be o.k. people need to slow down how did u not see her or the dog. I see people race through Sierra Hwy.
A tow truck driver gets killed atleast every six days here in the us. On the side on the highway. Wearing class-3 reflective gear. So a lady running in the dark would be almost impossible to see.

Wow, I guess it’s o.k. than. But, my point dark or not I leave Santa Clarita to go to Acton almost every day. I think it’s sad but true the dark, the sun n many factors cause tragedies. I just think that where it’s too dark put your head lights on anything to avoid the worse. Prayers for both families.

This is heartbreaking. I’ve done the same… dogs got away and I chased them, not fully aware of my surroundings. This is something that can happen to anyone at that moment.? Very sad.
Me too! My dog use to be a bolter and there were many a time I did this very same thing on Soledad Blvd! During the day usually, but I got lucky. This was about 13 yrs ago, the foolish things we do for our babies. So sad?
So heart breaking.. I saw the dog the following day outside The Fight Academy early am.. the poor baby was terrified and I knew it was the woman’s dog.. a mother called animal shelter and prettt sure they took her.. RIP and prayers to her family.
