The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is hosting two recruitment events in June to identify qualified food service industry professionals and caregivers for immediate employment in the Santa Clarita Valley.
The WorkSource Center will host a recruitment event on Wednesday, June 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for immediate employment with Beef ‘O’ Brady’s restaurant on The Old Road in Santa Clarita. Available positions include wait staff, bartenders and kitchen staff and pay ranges are between $8.00 and $14.00 per hour based on experience, plus tips. Interested applicants should bring the following to Wednesday’s recruitment: a copy of their resume, training certifications for serving and/or bartending, work history and references, a State issued ID such as a Driver’s License, and Social Security Card or passport. Qualified candidates will be working as early as Monday, June 24.
Then, on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, the WorkSource Center will host a recruitment event to identify qualified candidates to fill caregiver positions for Right At Home Care Agency, which operates in Santa Clarita and the San Fernando Valley. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma, one or more years of experience as a caregiver or certified nursing assistant (preferred), have a reliable vehicle and current auto insurance, negative TB test or clean x-ray within the last 12 months, must read/write/speak English proficiently, have a California state ID or Driver’s license and valid social security card, and be registered with CalJOBS at caljobs.ca.gov. Onsite interviews and background checks may be conducted for those applicants who best meet the qualifications of the employer.
