The Hart School District Governing Board is holding its regular meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and will interview and fill the board seat vacated by Chris Fall, who resigned and declined to serve a second term.
The public meeting will be at 3 p.m. in the District Boardroom. The selected candidate will take the oath of office and begin the four-term term at the regular board meeting on Dec. 11.
Twelve candidates applied for one vacant seat and are going through a verification of requirements including being: at least 18 years of age, a resident of the Hart School District, a registered voter in the State of California, and not be disqualified from holding civil office by the constitution or any law of the State of California.
The 12 applicants are Linda A. Calvo Ed.D., Ronda Chobanian, Eileen Connolly, Bruce Fox, Robert Hall, Jim Heffernan, Sharon Hill, Ann E. Kerman, Jinghong Li, Philip Phillipson, Lee Schramling and Lance K. Williams. The application deadline was Tuesday at 4 p.m.
