Does anyone know if that is a known or active fault line?
Felt it quite strongly. I’m near the hospital. It was very loud and shook the house pretty good! I knew it was close by. Been through some big quakes, Sylmar and Northridge pretty bad. I didn’t sleep too well last night. But we’re just fine. We always seem to make it ok.

Probably the Placerita Fault, a relatively small offshoot or parallel fault near the San Gabriel Fault. The San Gabriel fault is thought to be an ancestral (aka now dormant) trace of the original path of the San Andreas Fault.
You can look at a geologic map of the area at this link:

Scroll to page 6 to view the map.
There’s lots of interesting history and geological information at the Elsmere Canyon site, and much more than just the area around Elsmere Canyon as well. Lots of pictures too.
