Mission Valley Bank announced the recent appointment of Jahun Smith to Senior Vice President and Regional Sales Manager and Roy Fisher to Senior Vice President and Operations Administrator.

Smith joined the bank in 2007 as Vice President and Branch Manager of the Sun Valley Office. During his nine years serving in that position, he was honored with the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s Trusted Advisor Award in 2013 for his service and assistance to small and medium-sized businesses throughout Los Angeles region. Smith excels in sales and customer service and provides leadership to the bank building a stronger sales culture, while continuing to be a trusted advisor to clients.

Focused on ‘hands-on’ client/relationship management, Smith prefers to handle the sales, implementation and service personally for his many clients in the entertainment, manufacturing and professional services industries. He has successfully built his portfolio through referrals and creating an environment of reciprocity wherein he works to connect the business community to each other with business owners working together to create positive results for one another.

Fisher joined the bank in 2014 as Vice President and Branch Manager of the Centre Pointe Office, managing the operations of the bank’s Business Banking Center in Santa Clarita. He has a proven track record of experience in retail banking, team leadership, and business development. His strong strategic and analytical skills combined with the ability to drive flawless execution of business initiatives has served both the bank and clients well.

As a retired army officer and major Army National Guard with 21 years of service, Fisher served in Operation Enduring Freedom and was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal (2005-2006). He was recently honored by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal and named 2016 Trusted Advisor – Business Banker. Fisher is customer focused, and skilled and experienced in operational management. In his new position he will oversee the Branch Operations, Centralized Operations and E-Banking departments of the Bank.
