The Santa Clarita Artists’ Association’s newest exhibit, “Four Seasons,” opens Friday and runs through Sept. 8 at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.
An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, July 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
“We had a huge turnout for our past grand opening party and we welcome SCV residents back for another look at beautiful paintings and sculpture from local artists,” said Olga Kaczmar, Publicity Director for the SCAA.
It is expected to feature a variety of artwork showcasing all landscapes of the seasons of winter, fall, spring and summer. The exhibit will showcase pieces celebrating the beauty and aesthetics of many seasons. A wide variety of art is displayed including paintings, photography, pencil, pastel, charcoal, mixed media, collage, giclee prints, and sculpture.
“It is going to be a fun community event and art show that the general public shouldn’t miss out on. Besides beautiful art, there will be complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres,” said Kaczmar.
The Santa Clarita Artists’ association showcases exhibits of work from local and affiliate Santa Clarita-based artists.
Gallery hours are Fridays and Saturdays 4p.m.-10 p.m. and Sundays from 1p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Gallery of Santa Clarita Artists’ Association is at Valencia Town Center, next to Pottery Barn, at 24251 Town Center Drive, Suite 155, Valencia CA 91355. View SCAA’s website, www.santaclaritaartists.org or call 661.244.7689 for more information.
