Alice Davis
You might not know the name Alice Davis, but if you have been to Disneyland, you know her work. Much of what you recognize as the look of the park’s attractions was created by this talented costume designer.
Already a successful fashion designer, Davis’ first project for Walt Disney was designing the live-action reference costume for Princess Aurora in “Sleeping Beauty.” Davis went on to design extensively for Disney, creating the costumes for two of the park’s signature attractions, It’s a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Davis is an official “Disney Legend” and continues to travel and speak extensively. You are invited to hear this extraordinary person whose stories will delight both young and old.
Join the ARTree for a magical evening with Alice Davis on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the Old Town Newhall Library. Bring the kids … and the kid in you.
