Newhall residents were hit with two power outages early Tuesday morning.
The first was a scheduled maintenance outage at 8 a.m. according to Robert Villegas of So Cal Edison.
59 customers were affected by the scheduled outage and power is scheduled to be restored at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
The second power outage caused by equipment failure around 8:51 a.m., according to the So Cal Edison website.
As of 12 p.m. less than 30 customers are still effected and power is estimated to be restored at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to residents the power was out at The Master’s College, Placerita Canyon and near Sierra Highway.
