[Trinity Classical Academy] – In a culture where gossip is common, “mean girls” are celebrated, “boys will be boys” and bullying leads to everything from fighting to depression, Trinity Classical Academy created this annual event to intentionally express to their students how to honor the Lord in their friendships.

The 4th through 6th grades will learn about what it means to be a good friend, what characteristics make a good friend, and what characteristics make friendship difficult and painful.

“Each new school year, we gather the students to teach them about Godly relationships and behaviors in the context of friendship,” said Liz Caddow, Trinity’s Founder. “Instilling these qualities in our young students will assist them with the relationships they will have throughout their lives.”

Friday morning, the young ladies will gather together in The Colonnade and sit at beautifully appointed tables for brunch and fellowship. Mrs. Caddow will discuss what it means to have a compassionate heart, and what it looks like to be a good friend in the hallways, the classroom and the playground.

Lead by Trinity’s COO Jeff Kulp and Grammar School Principal Kevin Seitz, the boys will discuss how the Bible describes friendship and how God expects them to treat each other. They will end their time with glazed doughnuts, which is always a favorite treat.

Trinity Classical Academy has grown from 28 students to over 550 in Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade, making it one of the largest classical, Christian schools in the country.
