UPDATE Monday 4:23 p.m.: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives responded to the Santa Clara Riverbed near Bouquet Canyon Road and Lowes Plaza, in Santa Clarita. Detectives have learned that earlier this morning during a cleanup in the Santa Clara Riverbed, a worker discovered human skeletal remains. Sex, age and cause of death will be determined at a later date by the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are investigating the discovery of human remains that were found near the 26400 block of Bouquet Canyon Road, in Santa Clarita on Monday, August 31, 2015 at approximately 9:40 a.m.

 

The cause of death and identification of the victim will be determined by the Los Angeles Department of Coroner.

 

There is no additional information available at this time.

    Scared – somebody called me and gave me a heads up before I saw the story. It is impossible not to be worried especially since this is only 5 miles away from the last known location of my daughter 2 1/2 years ago. :(

    This wash if you follow it,it leads very close to where Bryce overturned his truck 2 years ago in Castaic.He may have had a head injury in the roll over.I hate to say it but this would be about the time it takes for the body to be like the one found.2 years ago there was a sighting of a red head near Kmart who seemed homeless and or confused.Me and my roomy started asking the homeless kids that were living in the wash across from k-mart if they had seen a red headed boy.We knew kids were sleeping in the wash near the spot where this body was found.There was a brother and sister that panhandled the area back then,they slept in the wash by in and out burger..I haven’t seen then around for like 8 months.There were other sleeping down there to. .We actually went into the wash in that same area looking for Bryce.I so pray I’m wrong and it’s not him…Prayers to the family of who this is.

    I’m looking for a missing person in that area who has been missing since 1991. Her name is Ann Racz. I wonder if they can figure out how someone died with a skeleton that old. I wonder how old this skeleton is.
