School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, has announced the grand opening of its newest California location on November 14, 2015.
The school will be located at 24515 Kansas St. in the heart of downtown Valencia only three miles from the Westfield Valencia Mall and Six Flags amusement park.
In celebration of the new location, a grand opening event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring live musical performances, punk rock karaoke for people of all ages, raffles, free food, and lots of fun giveaways of t-shirts, DVDs, books and a guitar!
The School of Rock music program continues to drum to its own beat with its newest location in Santa Clarita.
The franchise sets itself apart from other institutions in that it emboldens students to rock out with and support their fellow students in their musical journeys. Taking the focus off the individual and creating a vibrant team dynamic allows students to enjoy a unique, extremely passionate and motivating environment in which to learn. This team-centric atmosphere makes School of Rock a fun and engaging place to practice and encourages kids to embrace the learning process. For over 15 years, this method of teaching has led to the concept’s growth in over 160 schools in nine countries.
“The immersive nature of our School of Rock program inspires students to strive for musical excellence beginning from their very first class. We encourage kids to dive head-first into their musical journeys as they support one another along the way,” said School of Rock CEO, Dzana Homan. “Everything at School of Rock from our equipment to our staff is truly authentic. We are passionate about sharing our love of rock with our students and look forward to witnessing them grow into professional, well-rounded and mature artists.”
“My children have benefited infinitely since becoming students of the School of Rock program. I have seen their confidence soar to all-time highs as they continue to both establish meaningful, lifelong friendships with their peers and excel in their musical capacities,” said franchisee Andrew Klein. “Being a part of developing the musical talent of future generations is such a rewarding role to be in—I’m excited for what the future holds for our students!”
