I just noticed driving on Bouquet and Aeco that an additiona stoplight was added before the Edison telephone. I sat across the street to watch the cars drive through this signal. Some running the light and all over the speed limit of 50 which is extremely far too high for this deadly intersection. The Sherrif’s out in force on Calmargo and Bouquet to enforce speeding. As I was there he did in fact pull
Someone over for speeding. It took the life of Wyatt Savaikie for measures to be taken to try and make this a safe place for our kids and community to walk? Why now? The City of Santa Clarita needs to change the speed limits in this highly pedestrian area so as not to lose another life. It is horrific enough that one family has had to lose the loss of their child. This family is near and dear to me and my daughters. So let’s start the process to change the speed limits and ensure every area is safe. People …. Pay attention to your speed limits and watch where you are driving. So you want to be responsible for the death of another. It is far beyond what any family can endure. Something HAS to change and law enforcement should have been patroling this area consistently. Not after the fact that Wyatt’s life was take. RIP dear Wyatt
