The County of Los Angeles Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) will be hosting a Business Connections event on Thursday, March 30 at the Centre on Centre Pointe Parkway from 8 a.m. to noon. The event is great for small business owners, consultants, subcontractors, and anyone interested in learning about the latest contracting opportunities available from prime contractors, local, state and federal agencies. Attendees will have the chance to meet procurement buyers and attend workshops covering accessing funding for businesses, how to register and certify businesses with government agencies, best practices to market your goods and services to government agencies, and more.
“One of the County’s goals is to purchase more goods and services from small businesses,” said DCBA Director Brian J. Stiger. “Through events like these, we can help your business certify, connect, and grow.”
