The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the city of Santa Clarita, has officially announced the honorees for this year’s luncheon. Conflicts dating back from World War II up until Operation Enduring Freedom, the nominating committee has narrowed it down to these individuals who have not only served our country, but have made it back safely to help serve our Valley’s business community.
This year’s honorees are:
Gasper Lentini, US Army – Korea
Tommy Martin, US Army – Afghanistan and Iraq
Jennifer McCoy, US Army – Operation Enduring Freedom
Garo Papazian, US Army – Vietnam
Gordon Rogers, US Army – WW II
Jerry Schlund, US Army – Vietnam
Ervin Thuerk, US Army – WW II
“We are proud of this year’s honorees having been selected from a larger than normal pool of nominations,” said John Musella, Chairman of the SCV Chamber of Commerce. “The Patriots Luncheon honors our veterans who have not only sacrificed for this country, but have been able to serve our Valley’s business community as well.”
