From a post on the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Facebook page Friday by PIO Shirley Miller:
“Congrats to SCV Sheriff’s Station student worker Ashley Olivier! We just received word that she made it to the top, that is the top of Mount Whitney.
She took vacation time to have a daughter/father adventure. Her father serves as an LASD lieutenant in Monterey Park.
No easy feat to make that climb! As the highest point in the contiguous U.S., Mt. Whitney stands at 14,505 feet tall.
Congrats on your accomplishment Ashley, and we look forward to seeing you back at work next week!”

Congrats Ashley! Glad to see you accomplishing wonderful things!
Whose flag is that? And why the blue stripe? No one has the right to change the colors of our flag.
