Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested a man at a Park and Ride lot in Newhall after finding marijuana and cash in his vehicle early Tuesday morning, according to officials.
An SCV deputy conducting a patrol checks at the Park and Ride lot near Newhall Avenue and Highway 14 about 3 a.m. Tuesday observed a van that appeared to have an adult male inside.
When the deputy approached the van to check on the welfare of the individual, she noticed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle.
The deputy found approximately 10 pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle, and the suspect was found to be in possession of more than $3,000 in U.S. currency.
The 39-year-old man from Oregon was charged with importing marijuana into the state and for the unlawful possession of cannabis for sale.

The story says that they FOUND $3000. dollars on him along with the pot. It does not say that is all the pot was worth. You both should read closer to “get better info.”
