A reckless driver on Railroad Avenue led to a pursuit that landed four suspects in custody on Wednesday.

A pursuit this afternoon in Newhall ended with four suspects in custody. It all started when a motor deputy spotted a reckless driver on Railroad Avenue. Deputies caught up with the suspects after they bailed out of their vehicle and started running into a wash near 16th street. After a brief containment, the suspects were captured.
Inside the vehicle, there were numerous items that deputies booked as evidence. Follow-up investigation determined that a residential burglary had been committed in Castaic.
One male adult and three male juveniles from the Los Angeles area were charged with burglary, and the driver was additionally charged with felony evading.
The four males were transported and booked at SCV Sheriff’s Station.
