The California Highway Patrol dispatch received a call at approximately 5:13 p.m. Wednesday of a possible accidental discharge of an aerosol spray believed to be pepper spray at the Newhall, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
Several officers from the Newhall CHP area office responded to the scene. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded for initial medical treatment. As a result of the release, one female customer was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital as a precaution.
The remaining employees and customers within the DMV at the time of the incident, were medically treated on scene and declined further treatment. After reviewing the DMV surveillance video footage, it appeared the suspect intentionally pepper sprayed a wall inside the DMV.
The suspect is described as a female, approximately 50-60 years of age. At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a light blue jean jacket, blue jeans and glasses.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Officer Greengard at the Newhall CHP office (661)-294-5540

Oleg Shalygin… It could be worse…
??
Why did the woman bring pepper spray inside the DMV office and even worse vandalize using the aerosol spray? That is not okay to bring pepper/aerosol sprays!
Welcome ?
This is very serious. Follow the camera footage, Did she ever go to the counter and do a transaction? We need to start posting suspect’s pictures public, find theses people and take action. Once you put peoples pictures up, they will either turn themselves in, or someone will know that person.
