A Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputy reportedly clocked a Las Vegas woman driving 93 miles an hour near the Saugus Speedway and arrested her on charges of excessive speed and reckless driving late Wednesday night.
Here’s the story from the station’s social media:
“’93’ – that wasn’t a radio station that the traffic deputy was listening to – it was the speed of a driver pulled over (Wednesday) night around midnight on Soledad Canyon Road, near the Saugus Swap Meet.
“When the deputy asked the driver why she was going so fast, the 20-year-old woman from Nevada replied that ‘she was just having fun.’
“The party mood was broken WHEN the deputy told her she under arrest for reckless driving AND her Dodge Charger was going to be impounded for 30 days.”

I was just rear-ended by a black Dodge Charger at the corner of Seco and Bouquet. The guy or girl took off. They went towards Copper Hill direction, up Seco. The car has noticeable body damage on the front. If anyone sees anything, please call it in or let me know. Thanks for your help!
