“Milk and Cookies with Santa,” a free “sensory-friendly” storytelling and cookie-eating event hosted by the city of Santa Clarita, is set for the Canyon Country Community Center on Monday, Dec. 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Canyon Country Community Center is located at 18792 Flying Tiger Drive, Canyon Country 91351.
Children and their families are welcome to come and enjoy holiday treats while listening to Santa tell stories of the North Pole in a sensory friendly environment.
The setup will include dim lights, reduced sound levels and sensory friendly activities for children with special needs.
Children will also have the opportunity to share their holiday wishes with Santa while getting their photo taken with Mr. Claus himself.
All are welcome at this free event, but it is requested that each group attending does not exceed five people. To reserve a spot, attendees can register in person at the community center or call 661-290-2266.
To learn more about the “Milk and Cookies with Santa” event, call Julie Calderon, Community Services Supervisor, at 661-250-3719.
