The Canyon Country Community Center invites the community to partake in spring programs, available from Monday, April 4 to Friday, April 8, 2016.
Programs are available for youth ages 5 to 12 in the mornings, afternoons and full day:
Science Treasures Camp (Mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.): This morning program will be filled with hands-on projects that spark the knowledge of physics, chemistry and earth science. Campers will transform the Canyon Country Community Center into ‘Rollercoaster Mania,’ dabble in the lab with chemistry potions, start their own mineral and rock collection, erupt a volcano and more! Cost is $50 ($55 non-resident) per child. A $25 material fee is due on the first day of camp.
Spring BLAST (Afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.): Afternoons at the Canyon Country Community Center will provide a fun and structured setting for youth. This program offers kids an opportunity to participate in enrichment activities, crafts, games, presentations and more! Cost is $25 ($30 non-resident) per child.
Science Treasures Camp and BLAST (Full day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.): Kiddos can enjoy a full day at Canyon Country Community Center with Science Treasures Camp and Spring BLAST. From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. each day, children will eat lunch and enjoy some supervised relaxation time. Campers must bring their lunch from home. Cost $85 ($90 non-resident) per child. A $25 material fee is due on the first day of camp.
