Comedian and magician Fritz Coleman brings his stand-up show to Santa Clarita with an intimate, one-time performance at the Keyboard Galleria Music Center on Saturday, August 26.
Coleman will headline KGMC’s Stage Door Room starting at 6 p.m.
Joining him will be special performers from the Magic Castle.
Also the weekday weatherman for Los Angeles TV station KNBC Channel 4, Coleman is originally from Pittsburgh. He studied radio, TV and film in college, worked as a deejay and stand-up comic in Buffalo, New York before landing in Los Angeles in 1980 as a stand-up. He started as KNBC’s weekend weather reporter in 1982 and moved to weekdays in 1984.
Coleman has written and performed the one-man shows “The Reception” and “It’s Me! Dad!” and appeared in the 1993 Perry Mason TV movie “The Case of the Telltale Talk Show Host.” He earned the EMA Community Award in 2004 for his work on the KNBC children’s program “4 Our Planet.”
