Public Safety and Crime Information Report for the Week of February 8, 2016
Burglary – 22000 block of Placerita Canyon Road and the 25000 block of Newhall Avenue. Person(s) unknown forced entry into the locations and stole an air compressor, several power tools and food items.
Burglary / Vandalism – 24800 block of Newhall Avenue. Person(s) unknown forced entry into the location by smashing a side window and then taking food items and cans of spray paint. The suspect(s) then vandalized the exterior wall of the location with spray paint.
Burglary – 24300 block of Wabuska Street. Two male adults smashed the rear window of the location and stole several unknown items which they concealed in trash bags. The suspects left the location in a white SUV.
Petty Theft – 23500 block of Wiley Canyon Road. Person(s) unknown contacted the victim and claimed to be her son. The suspect told her he had been in a car accident, and that he needed money wired to a third party. The victim wired the money to the suspect, then later contacted her son and found out that he had not requested any money.
Petty Theft – Park Street / Newhall Avenue. Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole her gym bag containing makeup and clothing items.
Petty Theft – 24100 block of Race Street. A male juvenile stole the victim’s razor scooter which was left on the front lawn of the location.
Vehicle Theft – 24300 block of Railroad Avenue. Two male adults in a white tow truck stole the victim’s vehicle which was parked in front of the location.
Assault w/ Deadly Weapon -24600 block of Little Oak Road. The suspect went to the victim’s home and slashed the tire on the victim’s vehicle. When the victim confronted the suspect, the suspect then pointed the knife at the victim and verbally threatened to hurt him. The suspect was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, making criminal threats and vandalism.
