Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the week of 09/14/2015 to 09/20/2015

 

Last week, the following Part 1 crimes occurred in Zone 5- Valencia:

A burglary occurred near the 23900 block of Clayton Street. While the victim was away from his home, an unknown suspect entered his residence and stole jewelry from a jewelry box and also some prescription medication. No signs of forced entry were observed at the location. Two doors were left ajar by the victim while he was gone.

A burglary occurred to a storage locker near the 24100 block of Del Monte Drive. An unknown suspect broken into the victim’s residence storage unit and stole a few items.

A grand theft occurred near the 25400 block of Rye Canyon Road. An unknown suspect entered the location and stole an indexing system. No signs of forced entry were found. The machine is valued at $12,000.

A vehicle burglary occurred near the 24200 block of Valencia Boulevard. An unknown suspect smashed the rear window of the victim’s vehicle and stole a camera bag and equipment.

A petty theft occurred near the 24100 block of Magic Mountain Parkway. A female suspect was arrested from the location for trying to exit the store without paying for items she had concealed.
