Canyon Country West, Zone 7

This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:

(1) Robbery, (1) Residential Burglary, (1) Commercial Burglary, (1) Vehicle Burglary, (2) Shoplift, (6) Petty and (1) GTA.

A robbery occurred at the Papa John’s restaurant located at 18934 Soledad Canyon Road. Two suspects, carrying firearms and wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and bandanas, entered the location and demanded money from the cash register and safe. The suspects fled the location in a dark colored compact vehicle. The case is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station Detectives.

A residential burglary occurred near the 26800 block of Claudette Street. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked garage and broke into the victim’s vehicle. The suspect took a purse containing miscellaneous cards/papers from the vehicle.

A petty theft/shoplift occurred near the 19000 block of Soledad Canyon Road. A store employee was arrested when it was determined she failed to pay for multiple items over the past several months.

A female suspect was detained by loss prevention personnel for petty theft/shoplifting, near the 18600 block of Via Princessa, after failing to pay for selected items she concealed in her purse. The suspect was subsequently arrested by responding deputies.

A 1994 Honda Accord was taken near the 19000 block of Pleasantdale Street. The unlocked vehicle was parked in the driveway. The vehicle was recovered in LAPD’s Mission area.
