Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the week of 09/14/15 to 09/20/2015

 

A burglary occurred in the 24900 block of Southern Oaks Drive. Person(s) unknown went into the victim’s open garage and stole numerous articles of clothing and various small items. A vehicle burglary occurred in the 24900 block of Pico Cyn Rd. Person(s) unknown took the victim’s car keys from her unlocked locker of the location. Suspect(s) unknown then went out to the parking lot of the location, entered her vehicle using her keys, and stole her Ipad and other items from her vehicle.

A vehicle burglary occurred in the 25300 block of The Old Road. Person(s) unknown broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole a tool box containing various tools and a baseball bag containing various pieces of baseball equipment. A vehicle burglary occurred on the 26700 block of Wyatt Lane. Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole $4.00 in U.S. currency.

A petty theft from vehicle occurred in the 26838 block of Wyatt Lane. Person(s) unknown went into the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole his wallet containing his debit/credit cards and $250.00 in U.S. currency.

An attempt petty theft from vehicle occurred in the 24816 block of Greensbrier Drive. A male adult was seen exiting the passenger side of a white BMW Mini Cooper, then entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and rummaged through its interior. Nothing was taken. An assault with a deadly weapon (firearm) occurred on the 5 FWY/14 FWY junction. The victim saw several male adults looking into his vehicle which was parked in front of his home. He stated upon seeing him, the suspects left the location in a light colored sedan. The victim stated he followed the suspects northbound on the 5 FWY to the 14 FWY. The victim stated the suspects then pulled over to the shoulder and fired one round from a shotgun at the victim’s vehicle as the passed. The victim then drove to the Santa Clarita Station to report the incident.
