Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the week of 05/18/15 to 05/24/2015
Here is your weekly report:
A theft from a vehicle occurred on the 26000 block of Tennyson Ln. An unknown person(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and took the victim’s purse containing his Iphone, credit card, and U.S. currency. The suspect later used the victim’s credit card to make a purchase. The victim stated that the vehicle was not locked.
A vehicle burglary occurred on the 28500 block of Westinghouse Pl. An unknown person(s) broke into the victim’s vehicle, which was parked in the parking lot of the location and stole the third row detachable seat.
A shoplifting occurred on the 25400 block of The Old Rd. A male adult attempted to leave the location with several items he did not pay for. When contacted by loss prevention officers the suspect abandoned the items and ran from the location. No arrest was made.
A shoplifting occurred on the 25400 block of The Old Rd. A female adult attempted to leave the location with several items she did not pay for. She was arrested for petty theft.

A petty theft occurred on the 22400 block of Constitution Ave. An unknown person(s) stole the informant’s suit case (containing a pair of gold earrings, gold necklace, glasses, and prescription medications) which was left unattended on the stairs of the location.
A petty theft occurred on the 28100 block of The Old Rd. An unknown person(s) stole the informant’s purse (containing her driver’s license, debit card, and other miscellaneous items) which was left unattended on the counter of the location.
Tip of the week: STAY HYDRATED! Although our weather has been odd lately (typical for this part of California) summer is coming. Be sure to always have cool water on hand for yourself, your family, and your pets whenever you are out and about. Soft drinks, energy drinks, and sweetened beverages actually DEHYDRATE you, as it takes water from your body to break down the sugars and chemicals they contain. Simple water is always the best. My son had his bicycle seat stolen from his locked bike while he was working at Chilis on the Old Road. Nice…
He didn’t report it to the sheriffs, but I thought I would mention it here.
Here’s hoping he didn’t ride that bike home. And if he did, that he didn’t sit down.
