Castaic, Val Verde: Public Safety and Crime Prevention Report for the Week of 02/29/16 – 03/06/16
The following crimes were reported last week:

Thefts from unlocked vehicles: 27000 blk of Buckskin Dr., 28000 blk of Nantucket St., 27000 blk of Beacon St. and the 31000 blk of Bobcat Wy. All of the vehicles were rummaged through, and miscellaneous items were taken. Three of the thefts occurred in the early morning hours of 03/05/16.

Theft- 30000 blk of Penrose Ln. The victim reported a magazine pouch containing four loaded rifle magazines stolen from his locked vehicle.

Please remember to never leave valuables in plain view in your vehicle, close and lock your doors. Minimize your risk and avoid being the victim of a crime of opportunity.
