Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives are asking the public’s help to identify a man who was allegedly armed with a gun and robbed a Newhall massage parlor on Thursday, June 27.

Detectives describe the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 20s, thin build, about 5’10” tall.

Here’s more from the station detectives:

“On Thursday, June 27, at about 1:40 p.m., deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to a massage parlor located on the 24000 block of Railroad Ave. in Newhall, in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred.

“During the investigation, it was discovered that after the suspect received a massage, he was attempting to make payment, but then lifted his shirt revealing the butt of a handgun, and robbed the business.

“Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Detective Burrow at 661-255-1121 ext. 5138.”
