County firefighters battled a blaze in a garage at a residence in the 28000 block of Magic Mountain Lane in Canyon Country Friday afternoon.
The fire burned a garage and a car, but not the adjacent house, according to Art Marrujo, Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatch supervisor.
Dispatchers received a call at 3:57 p.m. Friday and units were at the scene by 4:01 p.m., Marrujo said.
“There was a report of smoke and fire at a two-story residence, but it was the garage,” he said.
Engine companies from Stations 107, 129, 132 and 150 in Santa Clarita fought the blaze, Marrujo said.
He said firefighters put the fire out by 4:32 p.m.
No injuries had been reported so far, but paramedics had also been dispatched in case, Marrujo said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, he said.

Wow, what a great picture! You think the local news crew would have access to maybe get a better closer shot then from a mile away? lol. A black plume of smoke? So exciting!
We are very lucky they didn’t use a generic picture of a Dalmatian.
