It has become a multi-generational tradition – the Santa Clarita 4th of July Parade will once again wind its way down Main Street, Lyons Avenue and Orchard Village in Newhall.
However, entries for the parade are due this Friday, June 15.
To enter the parade, go to SCVParade.com. For entrants who register by June 15, the non-commercial fee is $40, and the commercial fee is $175.
This year’s Grand Marshal is Fred Trueblood, and the theme is “It’s a Grand Old Flag.” The parade is dedicated to the memory of Bobbie Trueblood Davis.

Between June 16 and the final deadline of June 22, the rates are $60 for non-commercial and $225 for commercial.
All entries are judged and have a chance to win in any one of 35 different categories.
The parade first rolled through Santa Clarita in 1932 and is always lined with thousands of families.
The day begins with a pancake breakfast fundraiser at the start of the parade route on Main Street in Old Town Newhall.
