Classes began at our new home on 6th street. 2015 Speaker Series: In August, guest speaker Michael Jung gave us a peek behind the magical curtain at the creative life of a Disney Imagineer. What a fascinating career! We thank Michael for sharing his experiences with our community.
Relax and Craft: August brought a record number of participants to our monthly craft session at the Old Town Newhall Library. Adults learned how to make recycled book page flowers. Join us in September! Details below.

2015 SPEAKER SERIES
Jian Lee and Will Kim
Artists and Animators
Jian Lee studied design before going into animation and works as a puppet artist. Will Kim directs an animation showcase and also works in live action films. Both teach drawing and animation in Southern California and have screened at numerous film festivals in the US and internationally.
With eclectic backgrounds, unique personalities, and award-winning work, these talented and internationally recognized artists will present their uncommon approach to experimental animation, life drawing, and artistic collaboration.

RELAX & CRAFT
Don’t throw away your empty mint tins!. This month we’ll be giving them a new purpose. Customize your own mini sewing kits, first-aid kits or collection tins using papers and mod podge. This class is free for adults and no prior registration is required.

Spend Halloween day building BOTS like the one above during this event at the Valencia Westfield mall. ARTree will take over a large space within the mall for kids and adults to build spooky (or unspooky) bots out of foam pieces.
