The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corp. received a Gold Excellence in Economic Development Award on Tuesday for its 2016 “Still Golden” campaign project in the category of Special Purpose Print Brochure from the International Economic Development Council.

The honor was presented at a Sept. 27 awards ceremony during the IEDC Annual Conference, which was held Sept. 25-28, in Cleveland, OH.

SCVEDC’s Still Golden marketing campaign invested in the creation of new brochures, themes and videos capturing the Santa Clarita Valley lifestyle. These media were deployed through print, billboard and digital advertising, and social media. The campaign is adaptable to specific announcements, such as the announcement of Logix Federal Credit Union relocating its headquarters to the Santa Clarita Valley. This multimedia campaign strengthens the identity of the SCV as the place where companies can prosper in a diverse and resilient economy.

IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development Awards recognize the world’s best economic development programs and partnerships, marketing materials, and the year’s most influential leaders. These awards honor organizations and individuals for their efforts in creating positive change in urban, suburban, and rural communities.
