The vehicle reached a max speed of about 80 mph, traveling through San Fernando, Pacoima, Sun Valley and Burbank, finally crashing into a freeway barrier in Boyle Heights, according to California Highway Patrol Sgt. Paul Reyes.
The driver fled the vehicle and proceeded on foot into a residential neighborhood where he was eventually apprehended by California Highway Patrol.
