The Los Angeles River Ranger District on the Angeles National Forest will host a career fair designed to showcase and recruit for seasonal wildland fire-fighting positions on Saturday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The job fair will be held at the Little Tujunga Ranger Station, 12371 Little Tujunga Canyon Road (Osborne exit off the 210 Freeway), San Fernando 91342. For more information, call (818) 899-1900 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 pm.
A variety of opportunities (both paid and unpaid) may be available, ranging from volunteer and student programs to seasonal and full-time employment, for those seeking an exciting and fulfilling career path associated with the outdoors.
Forest Service officials will be available to provide assistance in navigating through the AVUE application process, and how to research other outdoor career opportunities.
Job fair visitors are encouraged to take a resume.
