LOS ANGELES — Once again, the USC Trojans will headline the Dodger Stadium College Baseball Classic this season at Chavez Ravine, the Dodgers announced today. The Trojans will take on crosstown rival UCLA in the second half of a double-header on March 6, which features Oklahoma out of the Big-12 and SEC power Mississippi State in the opening game.
The Oklahoma-Mississippi State game is slated to begin at 11:00 a.m. and the USC-UCLA matchup will begin at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $40 for Dugout Club seats, $30 for Baseline Club seats, $20 for Field level VIP, $12 for Field level and $10 for pavilion seats. To purchase tickets, visitwww.dodgers.com/classic.
Tickets for USC and UCLA students and children under 14 are $5 (excluding dugout, baseline and Field VIP) and are available in advance only at the UCLA and USC box offices or at Dodger Stadium on the day of the event. One ticket is good for both games.
Parking is $10 and available only at the gate on the day of the event. Both parking and stadium gates will open an hour prior to the first pitch at 10:00 a.m.
The USC-UCLA game will be televised by Pac-12 Networks.
The Trojans took down three top-10 ranked teams in Vanderbilt (6-5), TCU (7-6, 12 inn) and UCLA (8-4) last season en-route to winning the tournament. The event dates to 2010, when Vanderbilt edged Oklahoma State, 7-6, and UCLA defeated USC, 6-1. The Trojans have been a part of every Dodger Stadium College Baseball Classic event since its introduction.
