The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan is reminding Los Angeles County voters to request a vote by mail ballot by May 31 for the June 7th Presidential Primary Election.
Mailings to all eligible registered voters will continue until June 3.
Requesting a vote by mail ballot is easy and can be done online or by using the back of the official sample ballot. Voters who have applied for a vote by mail ballot can check the status of their ballot online here.
To receive a sample ballot booklet, individuals must be registered to vote. To register to vote or to check voter registration status, residents can visit lavote.net.
For translated election materials in Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai or Vietnamese, call (800) 481-8683.
Beginning January 1, 2015 all vote by mail ballots postmarked by Election Day will be counted if received within three days by the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (California Senate Bill 29).
