Voters go to the polls Tuesday to decide who should serve the next four years on the Santa Clarita City Council.
Here are the five candidates vying for the two seats up for grabs:
Incumbent Laurie Ender is the current mayor of Santa Clarita. She advocates healthy lifestyles, open space, and lifelong learning.
Incumbent Bob Kellar has been a member of the Santa Clarita City Council for 12 years. He has lived in Santa Clarita for more than 30 years.
Jon Hatami is a Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney who grew up in Canyon Country and graduated from Canyon High School.
Ed Colley is a military veteran and teacher at Valencia High School. After retiring from the military he moved to Santa Clarita and began teaching for the William S. Hart Union High School District.
TimBen Boydston is a 40-year resident of the Santa Clarita Valley and the executive director of the Canyon Theatre Guild.
How to Watch
Beginning Tuesday at 7:30pm the city of Santa Clarita will stream the City Council Municpal Election live from Council Chambers at City Hall.
The telecast starts promptly at 7:30pm and will be tracking live results, so be sure to tune in after you get out and vote.
