Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit

 

Last week, the following Part 1 crimes occurred in Zone 5 (Valencia).

A burglary occurred near the 26000 block of Bouquet Canyon Road.   Suspect(s) unknown stole two 50” flat screen TV’s and two AT&T cable boxes from the location.  No forced entry into the location was detected and it is unknown how the suspect(s) entered the location.

A garage burglary occurred near the 25800 block of Blanca Way.   Suspect(s) unknown entered the victim’s garage and stole a suitcase from the inside his garage.  No forced entry into the location was seen.

A vehicle theft occurred near the 26600 block of Bouquet Canyon Road.  The victim had his 2000 Lexus ES300 stolen from the location, California license #4JJE937.  No suspect information is currently available.

A vehicle burglary occurred near the 24100 block of Del Monte Drive.  Suspect(s) unknown stole numerous high dollar electronic items from inside the victim’s vehicle.  The victim left his window down just enough for the suspect(s) to enter without forcing entry.

Over this past week we had three incidents of shoplifting occur at our local businesses.   One out of the three incidents resulted in an arrest.

Nov. 10: USATF Certified Santa Clarita Marathon
The 2024 Santa Clarita Marathon will be held on Nov. 10, starting and finishing at Valencia Heritage Park, 24155 Newhall Ranch Rd. The course will be on the bike path, away from traffic. Race start times are: full marathon 7 a.m., half marathon 7:15 a.m., 10K 7:30 a.m. and 5K 7:35 a.m.
