Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit
Last week in Zone 4, the following Part 1 crimes occurred:
(3) Shoplift, (1) Petty Theft and (2) GTAs
An attempted shoplift/burglary occurred near the 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. Three Hispanic male suspects attempted to take electronic items after removing them from their packaging. A store employee recognized the suspects from a previous incident and immediately notified the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station. The suspects fled the scene in a gold colored Chrysler Town and Country van.
A petty theft/shoplift occurred near the 27300 block of Bouquet Canyon road. A female suspect concealed medication and food items in her purse and walked out of location, failing to pay for the items. The suspect is known to the employees and the case is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
A GTA occurred near the 28000 block of Robin Avenue. A 2012 Chevrolet Equinox was taken when the victim left the keys in the trunk. The vehicle was recovered shortly after the incident when it was located by ONSTAR.
A GTA occurred near the 28900 block of Rock Canyon Road. A 2000 Ford E-350 van was parked in front of the location. A set of keys belonging to the vehicle were also missing.
