Santa Clarita, Calif. — After leading the TMC women’s basketball team to a GSAC Tournament championship and an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament, sophomores Bianca Cubello and Megan Lindsley have been named to the 2014-15 NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball All-America squad as honorable mention choices.
Lindsley averaged a team-high 11.6ppg, scoring in double figures 16 times and highlighted by a season-high 25 points against La Sierra on December 6, 2014. The backcourt sharpshooter also connected on 80.3% of her free throws and dished out 53 assists.
Meanwhile, Cubello, in her first full season as a starter, averaged 10.4ppg and posted team-highs of 6.1rpg, 131 field goals, 39 blocked shots, and a 48.3% mark from the field.
The selections mark the 15th time in the past 17 years that one or more Lady Mustangs have earned All-American honors.
