[KHTS] – The winners have been announced by the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center for the 13th annual Rubber Ducky Festival, which took place over the weekend.
On Saturday, Sept. 26, approximately 3,000 rubber ducks raced down a man-made waterway in Bridgeport Park for a $4,500 prize pool, split among the first, second and third place winners.
The grand prize winner was David Sher, who netted $2,500 for his first place duck.
The second place winner was Ed Monaghan, whose winnings totalled $1,500.
Martha Simmons took home third place as well as a $500 prize.
SDFHC is contacting the winners for delivery of prizes.

* All proceeds from the event went directly to provide patient care at SDFHC’s three health centers in the Santa Clarita Valley.
