Katie Holloway Savors Golden Summer at 2016 ParalympicsKatie Holloway, a former CSUN women’s basketball student-athlete, and the Team USA Sitting Volleyball team made history at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio by winning the gold medal. Holloway and Team USA swept the previously undefeated Chinese team in the gold-medal match to earn their first Paralympic gold medal.Read More
CSUN Opens Big West Season with Visit from UC Davis, Sacramento StateThe CSUN Matadors (3-4-1) begin their quest for the Big West Conference Championship this week with a pair of league matches at Matador Soccer Field. On Thursday, Sept. 29, the Matadors host the UC Davis Aggies at 7 p.m. and two days later, Saturday, Oct. 1, the Matadors christen the new month with a 7 p.m. contest with the Sacramento State Hornets. Both contests will feature live stats, live audio and a live video stream on the CSUN Sports Network with Eduard Cauich and Jose Avalos calling all the action. Fans are also encouraged to check with the CSUN Athletic Department’s official Twitter accounts (@GoMatadors, @CSUNMensSoccer) for updates throughout the weekend.Read More
CSUN Opens Up Big West Play with UC Davis, Long Beach StateCSUN Women’s Soccer (5-2-4) kicks off its Big West schedule with a pair of matches after an 11-game non-conference slate. The Matadors host UC Davis on Friday evening at 7 p.m. in both teams’ conference opener. CSUN concludes the weekend with a road match at Long Beach State on Sunday at 6 p.m. Live stats will be available for both matches and the 49ers will provide an audio broadcast of Sunday’s contest.Read More
CSUN Opens Home Season vs. UC Santa Barbara, Cal PolyNORTHRIDGE, CA – After 14 road matches and thousands of frequent flyer miles, the CSUN women’s volleyball team (6-8, 2-0 Big West) finally opens the home portion of the 2016 season Friday.Read More
