Television productions based in Santa Clarita scored big in the 69th annual Emmy Awards nominations announced Thursday by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

“Westworld,” “Transparent,” “Drunk History,” “MasterChef Junior,” “Ballers” and “American Horror Story: Roanoke” all picked up nominations.

“Westworld” received 22 nominations, tying with “Saturday Night Live” for the most this year.

Emmy Awards will be handed out during a telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 17 starting at 8 p.m. on CBS, with Stephen Colbert the host.

The Creative Arts Emmy Awards will air the night before, on Saturday, September 16 at 8 p.m. on FXX.
