Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers and the Santa Clarita Elks Lodge #2379 announced exciting new items for the auction to be held at the 16th Annual Elks Charity Roast on March 8:

“DC Comics Super Hero Birthday Party” donated by Six Flags Magic Mountain; a champagne brunch (or lunch or breakfast) for up to 100 people at the location of the purchaser’s choice donated by the SCV Rotary Club; and the unmatchable Elks BBQ Committee’s one of a kind BBQ dinner, for up to 30 people. Other auction items include a Santa Clarita event package with VIP tickets to the Amgen Tour; a fabulous road bike and VIP tickets to the Cowboy Poetry Festival; a  behind-the-scenes tour and visit to the Entertainment Tonight Show; and a stay at a fabulous cabin in Big Bear. Other surprises to be announced that evening.

superbob800MC City Manager Ken Striplin joins roasters Don Fleming, Ken Pulskamp, Steve Arklin, and Fred Arnold who will do their best to embarrass Roast Founder Councilman Bob Kellar, this year’s roastee. A special treat will be a video produced by SCVTV of past roastees conveying their “best wishes” to Bob.

The 16th Annual Charity Roast will be held the night of Saturday, March 8, at 6pm at the Santa Clarita Elks Lodge, 17766 Sierra Highway in Canyon Country. Tables can be purchased for $2,000, $1,500 or $1,000. Call SDFHC at 661-257-2339 x302 for information and reservations; or click here to purchase your table online via credit card.
