[KHTS] -The Lancaster woman killed in a single-car crash Monday night on the southbound Highway 14 has been identified, coroner’s officials said Wednesday.

The woman was identified as 25-year-old ShaNita Kelly, said Lt. Kelly Yagerlener of the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner.

According to her Facebook page, Kelly works in the customer service department at a local WalMart store and is the mother of two young boys.

She is also an Antelope Valley High School graduate and studied at the Career Care Institute.

The accident occurred Monday at 9:31 p.m. north of Newhall Ave. on the SR-14, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

The woman was driving a 2003 Chevy and made an unsafe turn which cause her to lose control of the car, according to the CHP report.Lancaster Woman Killed In 14 Freeway Crash Monday Night

The car veered off the roadway, slammed into a guardrail, became airborne and then rolled several times, landing on its roof on a dirt embankment on the side of the road on Newhall Avenue.

Both CHP and Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to the scene.
